Drama Update 2/3 IMPORTANT

Hello everyone! Hope you all are having a great week.

I am having all of my students fill out a survey that will help us plan our 2021-2022 Theatre Arts season. Many of you know I teach Show Choir, Drama and Dance here at STCS and all skills we learn in these classes are integral to a successful production. In addition to teaching, I also directed a production of Seussical the Musical here in November which sold out all shows. We had over 30 students involved in the cast and crew and it was a huge success.

Please have your student fill this form out with you, the parent or guardian present, so that the answers are as accurate as possible. I understand if your student is not interested in participating in theatre next year, however, I would encourage all students to try being in a production at least once! Theatre has many benefits including building confidence, time management, teamwork and leadership skills, and public-speaking. It is also a safe space to make new friends and have tons of fun! If your student is more interested in being a part of crew and learning the behind-the-scenes operations of creating a show, there are options for you to select as well.

Please let me know if you have questions. This is an anonymous survey, but each student will need to show proof that they filled it out to receive points. This is due by Sunday 2/7. They may email me a screenshot of the page showing me it is complete or simply bring me their phone to show me it was filled out. Thank you so much for helping your student fill this out so that we can have a great season next year! 🙂
